Well we survived our first field trip.

No it wasn't to Best Buy, CompUSA, or Circuit City either.

We went to Kohls and BabiesRus.

 

Maybe next time we can swing by Best Buy or Lowes. :-)

Good Morning!

 

Well after having the model night Wednesday night, Aubrey decided she needed to spend more quality

time with her mom last night.

 

I left for work this morning with Mom and Aubrey curled up in the chair in Aubrey's room....very sweet.

 

We are looking forward to having Grandma and Grandpa "B" up here this weekend :-)

No more cankles!

My feet, ankles, and calves are starting to become distinct body parts again as the swelling is going down. Yeah!! I think I might actually have some shoes to wear again. The novelty of wearing slippers in public was wearing off. :)

Aubrey had a great night last night. Mommy was grateful as this was the first night without Gramma G.

It is Great-Grandpa G.'s birthday today. He would have been 84. I'm so glad we have the confidence that he is with Jesus and pain-free and happy. We sure do miss him though.

Two more days until Aubrey meets Grandpa B.!! She is very excited.

Milestone

Aubrey's umbilical cord stump fell off yesterday evening. Our little girl is growing up already!

It was a sad day today as Gramma G. and Autumn had to return to South Bend. They tried to sneak Aubrey with them in a laundry basket, but they got caught. :-) Lucky for me Aunt Abbey arrived this evening.

Aubrey was awake for a whole hour this afternoon - just looking around. Very sweet.
